What are the Hours of Operation?
The Zanesville Day Nursery (ZDN) is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The ZDN is closed on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and the Friday after, and Christmas Day. When a holiday falls on Saturday or Sunday, the holiday will be observed the following Monday.
What are the Tuition Rates?
Tuition rates vary contingent upon the age of the child (infant, toddler, preschool, etc. They are available by calling (740) 452-0759. All tuition rates are reviewed annually and determined by the ZDN Board of Trustees and Administration.
What’s the youngest age of children that the ZDN accepts?
The ZDN accepts children beginning at 6 weeks of age.
What if my child is allergic to certain types of foods?
We require that parents alert us to allergies for inclusion in the child’s medical record. Based on medical condition and/or prohibited foods, a plan is created utilizing the proper ODJFS form and the teachers and ancillary others are alerted. When a food on a child’s prohibited list is served, the child receives an appropriate substitution.
Are there employee and child health practices in place?
The ZDN does have policies in place regarding the health of employees and children. Both the employee and children must have documented physical examinations and have their shot records present and on file. No child is accepted that has not been vaccinated.
Where is the ZDN located?
The ZDN is located on the corner of Lee Street and Linden Avenue (505 Linden Avenue), across from the Muskingum River bank and just before the Y-Bridge.
